Jesus is condemned to death.

We begin the representation of the Stations of the Cross with abstract elements in a salty descent scenario with less water seepage, which makes it more stable and more compact.
The word INRI – Jesus Nazarerius Rex ludoeórum which means Jesus of Nazareth, the king of the Jews.
Jesus is tortured with blows, lashes and a crown of thorns, hence the word INRI is carved in salt and marked with deep pieces that partially fragment it. These signs represent the flagellation and death sentence imposed on Jesus.
