Many visitors wonder who the miners are. We admire all their effort, beyond their duty, because after undermining, they came back to make beautiful pieces of rock salt art. They co-invested in artists until they achieved the construction of this majestic place known as the FIRST WONDER OF COLOMBIA, thus recognized by the same vote of Colombians.
In the eleventh station, “Jesus is crucified.” The cross released over the great void of the background chamber significantly reaffirms the moment of the crucifixion. The essential Christian sign, the Cross, now erected in space, solitary, austere, unscathed, evokes the crucified Christ as a symbol of faith and hope.
